ESE-2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) annually conducts the prestigious Indian Engineering Services (ESE) examination for the recruitment of engineering posts in Central Government Departments such as Indian Railway Service, Central Engineering Service, Central Water Engineering, Indian Defence Service etc.  Through this ESE exam one can get a job as a Group-A Officer in various department under the Central Government. The test is conducted in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Tele communication Engineering.  Approximately 327 vacancies were filled as per ESE - 2023 notification. 

GATE 2024

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) .This test score is helpful for to do PG, PHD in Well Known Organisations and job achievement in Public Sector companies. Based on the GATE score, engineering students can get admission in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy departments at Prestigious IITs, IISC Bangalore, various NITs and reputed engineering colleges. Gate score is the standard for job placements in some public and private companies.  Some of these companies are: BHEL, GAIL, HAL, IOCL, NTPC, ONPC, which employ people with better pay and job security.  Gate score is also the basis for recruitment of Senior Field Officer (Tele), Senior Research Officer (Crypto), SRO (S&T) at Group A level posts in the Central Government. 

The examination is conducted annually under the joint auspices of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Higher Education, IISC, and 7 IITs (Bombay, Delhi Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee).
