Preparation Strategy For Prelims Exam:
Considering the cut off marks in the ESE examination conducted last year If prepared according to a plan it is easy to pass the Stage-1 Preliminary Examination. At the beginning of the preparation should read the summary in order to have a good grasp on which subject and which subject can be easily understood. Older question papers should also be read because the questions in this exam Likely to be repeated. You need to compare the old question papers and find out in which subject more questions are being asked and spend more time on that topic and prepare.
Instead of using different books to read a topic while preparing, it is possible to get a good grip on the basics while preparing to take one good book for each topic. Be prepared to use less time and achieve higher marks, without wasting time looking for more books. Prepare short notes on important topics and formulas in each subject during preparation. It is imperative to repeat these short notes every day. The time table should be prepared first while preparing. General studies are different from the technical subject because it can be carried out without feeling bored while reading. Once a topic is prepared not only old questions but also questions from other books can be read to know the depth of the subject and lead to success.
To be successful in this exam it is important not only to read all the subjects but also to manage time while writing the exam. Many students are preparing well and not able to approach success due to anxiety during the exam. That is why it is necessary to practice with a time limit while practicing the questions so that such a mistake is not made. Before starting the preparation, one should know thoroughly about the examination procedure and syllabus. Observe the changes in the syllabus and start reading.
In this exam apart from the technical syllabus, the general studies syllabus has also been modified to cover engineering rather than history, geography and current affairs. Changes were also made in the technical syllabus. So we have to start the preparation keeping in view the new syllabus. Standard books should be selected according to the newly modified syllabus. Most of the questions are repeated in the technical paper of this ESE exam so preparing the old question papers will be very useful in achieving success. It would be good to read the objective questions in some standard books. Compare all the old question papers and identify the important topics and questions that are repeated every time. It is a good idea to bring a standard book for each subject and read the Important concepts. This is because each subject may be confused by reading different books. During the preparation, short notes and formulas for each subject should be prepared and reviewed on a weekly basis.
When practicing questions you should try to practice as much as possible without exceeding the time limit. Each subject should be prepared in an objective and subjective manner while carrying out the preparation. After completing each subject like this, the completed subject should be revisited before starting another subject. It gives us an idea of how well prepared we are. Being ahead in such a competitive exam means that a large percentage of mock tests have to write in online so that we know how much preparation we have done and what topic we need to be more prepared for. current affairs are also very important so at least one hour should be used to read the newspaper every day. Doing so every day can help you to know what is going on in the day Engineering Aptitude and Reasoning are very important in General Paper so success can be achieved while prepare without wasting time.

Preparation Strategy For Mains Exam:
Candidates who have secured the qualifying marks conducted by UPSC in the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Mains Examination only. In This stage-2 (Mains) Examination The Engineering Syllabus in Stage-I is divided into two papers. The exam consists of questions to test the student's understanding of the basics as well as the advanced subjects. but without worrying it is enough to read the four years BTech syllabus systematically according to a plan. There will be a period of 4 to 5 months for the Mains exam after the preliminary exam so instead of wasting this time you have to compare the old question papers and start the preparation by knowing how to write the answer from which subject more questions are coming. The handwriting also plays a very important role as the answer should be written in a subjective manner in the mains exam so priority should be given to writing more in practice. During practice, more time should be allotted for diagrams, derivations, hand writing as these are more useful for achieving higher marks. A complete explanation should be given for each written answer. Don't waste time writing unnecessary extra answers. All the candidates think that it is difficult to get marks in the Mains exam but it is easy to succeed if you are prepared according to such a plan and use the time.
